A Night with Jay Hulme at Community UCC

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2023
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

We are thrilled to bring poet and speaker Jay Hulme, who is one of the UK’s foremost transgender theologians and his poem ‘Jesus at the Gay Bar’ is an international sensation, for a night of poetry at Community UCC! Bring your friends for a fun evening that will begin with a “mocktail hour”, featuring scrumptious hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, and a raffle. Then we will hear from Hulme, who is joining us all the way from the UK to share his work. Snazzy attire is encouraged! If that isn’t your vibe, that’s okay. Wear what you feel comfortable in — as we say at CUCC, no matter who you are or where you are on life’s journey, you’re welcome here and we really mean it. This event supports the mission and ministry of Community United Church of Christ. If you are unable to purchase tickets online, we will have limited tickets available at the church office, M-Th 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

2024 Annual Stewardship Campaign

We believe in God’s purpose, and the story we are begged to live into, for the mission of Community United Church of Christ. We are all called to remember, release, reimagin, and restore as we write our Community’s story together during the 2024 Annual Stewardship Campaign. Please consider giving to our Campaign, so that either your pledge (click the orange button below) and/or donation (click donate at the top of our homepage) will help CUCC continue our many Ministries and the work we do for our surrounding community.
