We had a fun youth group in March learning about our heroes and talking about how God used ordinary people to do extraordinarythings. We had a great discussion and had fun playing games. We always enjoy our time together.
We are working on finalizing details for our Tour of Grace trip in July 2018. This is a great opportunity for the youth (and any interested adults) to participate. The estimated cost is $400 per person. We will be staying at a local hostel located at 1000 S. Cooper St. Memphis, TN, 3810. The phone number for the hostel is 901-273-8341.
Payments for the trip can be made incrementally to www.firstcongo.com (Click on donations/payments and follow directions. Be sure to note “Partial payment for Community UCC Freedom Journey.”) Extra funds will be needed for lunches (Friday, Monday – possible extra cost for other days – TBD), dinner (every evening). Full commitment needed no later than by April 22nd ($200 non-refundable payment due by that date).

Youth group will take place Sunday, April 8th following the worship service.
Youth will continue to meet for Sunday School following the Children’s Moment on Sunday mornings.
